Another type of gas rebate card is specific to a particular chain of gas stations. For example, a BP Visa® Rewards Card lets you earn a discount of 5% on all participating BP location purchases and also can be used anywhere Visa cards are accepted.

How To Maximize Gas Rebate Credit Card Benefits

  • If possible, pay the entire card balance before the statement due date to avoid paying the monthly interest charge.
  • If you received a card with a 0% introductory APR, you may want to consider paying the entire balance at the end of the introductory period, to maximize the rebate benefits. After the introductory period monthly interest* will apply.
